Summer Runs: Beat the Heat

Summer is finally upon us…and so is the heat!

If you are joining us for a run, or going out on your own, it is important to do so safely.

Some helpful tips:

  • Make sure to stay hydrated before, during and after your run
  • If possible, avoid running in the middle of the day
  • Wear light colored breathable clothing
  • Don’t forgot to put on sunscreen

Most importantly – if you don’t feel right, stop/slow down.
